Where We've Been

The inaugural Home of XR megabooth was held at Gamescom 2024 in Cologne, Germany. 13 companies brought 18 games to display for potential partners and curious industry veterans, influencers, and media.

The first Home of XR class included titles from Beyond Frames Entertainment, Combat Waffle Studios, Cyborn, Dance Reality, Fast Travel Games, Flat2VR, The Game Kitchen, Maru, Maze Theory, nDreams, Patient 8 Games, Soul Assembly, Vertigo Games and Virtual Age.

In addition to the hands-on gaming experiences, a branded media lounge + bar was sponsored by Combat Waffle Studios’ survival horror game Silent North, and two jam-packed happy hours took place courtesy of sponsors Oculus Start and 1 Shot Energy.

Additional Home of XR sponsorship at Gamescom 2024 was provided by bHaptics, Dual North Studios, Kiwi Design and VR Tactical Gear.
